So I'm sittin' here doing my usual blog stalking... yes, I'm an addict, but I'm OK with it now :0) And low and behold, when I've read them all and added new ones I've stumbled upon and run out of things to read... I began surfing my own, giving it a once over and happened upon my archive drop down box... YIKES!! Ummmm... can we say slacker, there it was in neat little parentheses, my monthly posting numbers have been on a steady decline the past few months :0( So in an attempt to kick myself in the pants... instead of going to bed like a SANE person, I remain here at 2 a.m. scrounging up a post to make myself feel a little less unproductive :0) Hmmmmm.... not a whole lot going on round here though, which is kinda nice considering the craziness of the past few weeks. Oh I did however, along with my awesome friend Katie, have my first bridal session last Monday, YAY!! It was alot of fun but super HOT out!! I felt sooooo bad for the bride-to-be but she did fantastic!! Sorry, no peeks yet though, Ms. C's got to see them first... but soon!! Speaking of photography... my website(yes the one that was supposed to be up months ago :0P see procrastination again, I'm really trying to work on this certain character flaw of mine) is seriously close to being ready. It's taken soooooo much longer than I anticipated, and man is it alot of work... but well worth it I must say!! For now though, I'll leave you with an opinion poll (of sorts) I want to know what you think of my logo!!
Ok, for some reason it's looking kinda hairy and fuzzy on here but oh well :oP ...here it is, please let me know what you think! And don't be *nice* ...I can take it :0) I really want to know. I'm wanting something that encompasses my "style" if you will. Something light, fun, colorful, breezy, airy(?), those types of things! So gimme the goods, the bads, and the uglies!!

I like the font style you chose, but I'm not a big fan of multicolor printing for logos - the yellow is hard to read. I do like the dots, though! But what do I know. I'm not an art major - ask my smart daughter what she thinks.
If you weren't spending hours teaching me photoshop, you would probably blog more often! I love the logo - I'm a sucker for polka dots, although I agree with Pam about the yellow lettering - it gets lost. I think it totally looks fun! I would want a photographer with a logo like that! Can't wait to see your new website!
I also LOVE the font and the dots. But I have to agree the yellow does get lost. Can we see what it looks like with out the dots on your name and a different color for yellow?

I know that you said what you are going for with the look is a lot of color. I do like the polka dots. However, it kind of detracts from your name. I look at the dots before anything else when I first see it. And, since one purpose of a logo is that your name gets seen, I would maybe test out a few other things. For instance, your name in that font with one color minus the dots, and photography in a different color? Or, maybe solid color with same solid color for the dots? That way, you could still keep the look with the polka dots.
I like it!!!
