As many of you know my hubby is very "into" paintball... ok so he's obsessed! Well this weekend their team, Jolly Green, played in a woodsball tournament!! Now before all of your minds start jumping to conclusions NO---- I did not participate in this adrenaline filled endeavor "per say" but instead I went along as the photog( hints all the pics!!) But can I just say there was quite a bit of adrenaline involved for me too!! This was the first time I had ever been and bringing my beloved camera along was a little SCARY!!! My constant prayer: Oh PLEASE don't shoot my camera!! But all went well and I really had a lot of fun and didn't even get shot!!! It was so neat to see him in his element and doing something he LOVES!! This ones him, all decked out in his garb!!

See the orange-ish streak in the right side corner of this one... that's a paintball!!! Very cool!!!
I tried a couple of times to "freeze motion" but ummm yeah, there's a learning curve to that and let's just say I was a little slow on the uptake!
I'm lovin' this one of one of the ref's... I wonder who's game he was watchin"?...
It really was a neat experience and it gives me a whole new understanding and appreciation for this hobby that he loves so much!!! I've even told him I'd like to come back and do it again!! It's a whole new challenge for me and my next goal is to actually get some shots of them from more of a front end angle... not an easy task with the whole whizzing, flying paintballs scenario!! Still a very neat but different way I get to "share and participate" with him and have fun too!!! I love you honey... mud, paint spatter, bruises, and all ;0)

You're so cute! Good for you.. finding enjoyment out of what he enjoys...that's sweet! Good pics too...I liek the all B&W with the little bit of green.
How fun. I played once in highschool and thought it was a blast but I think I'd be too chicken now. :) But the boys look like they're havin' fun!

I think it would be fun, but I'm a little chicken, afraid it would hurt! Yes, even after two c-sections...I still don't like pain! Maybe I'll try laser tag:)

Paintballing is a blast. Next time you should play! It really does not hurt that bad and it is pretty easy to avoid getting hit.
