Xanderman!!

Well it's almost here... my little man's going to be ONE whole year, and all too soon :oP It really is much harder to grasp this with him than it was with Alora. When she turned one, I couldn't believe it in some ways but others I could. With mr. Xander it just doesn't seem like that much time has passed, even though I can remember thinking to myself when he was just a few weeks old, "slow down and take it all in, remember all this and cherish it because he'll be one before you know it," I still find my self wondering how we got here soooo quickly!!

These are just a few from the "b.day invitation" shoot I did with him, I just can't get enough of his cheesy little grin. Wanna know what brings it out?? Me setting him down then when he starts to move I squeal really loud NOOOOOOOOOOO, and he proceeds to giggle and snort... you just never know huh?!


These are actually from round 2 with the cake and let me tell you, the first ones were very cute too! Buuuuttt, I didn't check my settings before I started snapping away( bad photographer... no.no.) and DARK was an understatement. So hey, we'll just do it again, who wouldn't love digging into a cakie mess twice? Well... he wouldn't!! Round 2 was actually better tho and he didn't scream the ENTIRE time, but he wouldn't move either. The second he realized he had icing on him anywhere he wouldn't move in inch. Oh it's rough to be a baby hmmm :0)
Just thought I'd share my newest fave lately... piggies & paws!! These are sooo cute, I love them. I had this one "custom" made just for his b.day so I didn't really know what to expect and YAY, I absolutely adore it!!! My fave thing about it, other than everything ;0), is the hair!!!

So, this recent stroll down memory lane and Katie's inspiration in the blog department have prompted me to muster up another goal for 2008, and that is to POST, POST, POST, to this blog. Not just the pics but to write more about what my little munchkins and this crazy household are up too. That way when I create my Blurb book there will actually be some CONTENT to it!!! Then when my mommy brain has kicked in and I can't remember what I was just doing, let alone what they did in months/years passed, I'll be able to read it all over again!!! Sooooo, here's to bloggin' and postin' and pics and all the silly fun that kiddos and family bring!!
